The Middlesex Neuropsychiatric Center

The Middlesex Neuropsychiatric Center is a comprehensive treatment center of addiction and dual disorders, i.e. addiction combined with psychiatric disorders. Our mission is to treat patients with state of the art treatment in the comfort of our private office. Our staff is compassionate and dedicated. We are one of the few centers that provide both pharmacological treatment with suboxone and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which is the standard psychotherapy treatment for addiction disorders. Dr Alessandra Buonopane, Chief Medical Director of Addiction, has extensive experience in the treatment of addiction disorders. She is the former Medical Director of a Yale affiliated methadone program and former Chief of Addiction Services at Silver Hill Hospital. Dr Buonopane is Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University, is board certified in General Psychiatry and completed a fellowship program in Addiction Psychiatry at Yale University, School of Medicine.
