Dr. Liana Hategan
Oregon Suboxone Treatment
Our Psychiatrist, Dr. Liana Hategan will meet with you to evaluate your general health and help you decide if Suboxone is right for you. If you choose our Suboxone program, you will be given your first dose at our office where you will be monitored for several hours to ensure a safe response. You can then continue your treatment at home with regular follow up visits with the Doctor. At Pacific Northwest Recovery Center, we treat the whole person. Research shows that the success rates are highest for those who also participate in a support group or treatment program. Participation in our support group will increase the likelihood of long-term sobriety. When someone is placed on Suboxone, the clinical experience is that their brain’s receptors for opioid drugs appear to return to the pre-addicted state within months. However, the learning, the craving, and the emotional and behavioral changes that occur during addiction take many years to unwind. Suboxone helps with the opioid receptors, but an enormous amount of change needs to occur in other brain circuits to attain solid recovery.
